For the 2016 vintage however, we surreptitiously upped the level of intrigue by introducing a little Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot to the blend. The result is deep, dark and delicious - like a secret that's just too good to keep. With only 100 cases produced, you may want to grab as many bottles as you can and head for the safe house. No need to await further instructions - you know what to do.
Subterfuge is our new Bordeaux style blend. The word “subterfuge” is derived from the 16th century French subterfugere, meaning ‘escape secretly’. The blend is an homage to the Old World style of the Bordeaux region, with an unmistakable New World twist.
Defection is not for the faint of heart. Neither is our bold, fruit-forward single vineyard Zinfandel Reserve. If you have an allegiance to other varietals, this powerful character may convince you to switch sides. We produced just 50 cases so if you would like extra bottles, timely action would be advisable.
The last time we unleashed The Assassin was the 2013 vintage and now it's back with a vengance. Dont be afraid to invite The Assassin into your cellar. Age this wine for as long as you see fit. Once captive, this brooding beast will be ready whenever called upon. You, on the other hand, may not have the luxury of time. In order to capture this lethally delicious Cabernet Sauvignon based blend, you must act swiftly and decisively. With only 35 cases produced, The Assassin will disappear into the night before you know it.
