2010 New World Order

Only 200 cases produced

GOLD MEDAL WINNER 92 points - 2016 World Wine Championships Award

New World Order represents a coming together of the old world (syrah) and the new world (zinfandel) Both varietals were sourced from the same vineyard so while each grape exhibits its own varietal characteristics, the wine retains a sense of place thanks to the shared terroir. Black fruit mingles with floral notes, cigar box aromas and a hint of pepper. Wonderfully balanced and deliciously complex. Drink now or cellar through 2020.

Dove Pond Vineyard is located directly adjacent to our own in the Templeton Gap area of the Paso Robles AVA. The 18 + acre site is separated from our own by just a narrow strip of oak trees and shares the same distinctive calcareous shale and sandstone soils. Irrigation is very limited and he vines are planted north-south, taking full advantage of the warm summer growing season. The result is low yields of dense, ripe fruit.
