2012 Pseudonym Pinot Noir
For this single vineyard offering, we chose 777, 667 and 115 clones. Incorporating these three classic pinot clones gave us the potential for the development of complex flavors and aromas. The wine was aged for 20 months, using predominantly neutral barrels. We used just 20% new French cooperage to ensure that the oak influence is both subtle and nuanced. The wine was racked and bottled unfiltered to allow the purest expression of the fruit. Soft tannins enhance ripe black and red fruit flavors and velvety mouthfeel. A touch of spice on the finish.
