For this vintage, our Espionage blend is actually not a blend at all. While always Malbec dominant, we typically use other Bordeaux varietals to enhance the finished wine but when we began our blending trials, it was immediately apparent that the flavors, aromas and complexity of the 2022 Malbec could not be improved upon. Blackberry, black cherry and raspberry flavors meld with notes of cocoa, coffee beans and tobacco leaf. even at this early stage, this could be one of our favorite vintages of Espionage.
