For our Reserve Zinfandel, we carefully selected the best barrels from the 2010 crush. It was by no means an easy task. The Dove Pond fruit gave us very consistent quality across the board. We finally landed on a blend with a slightly higher percentage of new oak. Hints of raspberry and eucalyptus on the nose. On entry, layers of both black and red fruit ease into a lush mid-palate, punctuated by spice and pepper notes. The oak lends a toasty quality to the long finish. Drink now through 2018.

New World Order represents a coming together of the old world (syrah) and the new world (zinfandel) Both varietals were sourced from the same vineyard so while each grape exhibits its own varietal characteristics, the wine retains a sense of place thanks to the shared terroir. Black fruit mingles with floral notes, cigar box aromas and a hint of pepper. Wonderfully balanced and deliciously complex. Drink now or cellar through 2020.
While the exact grapes and we used in this blend are a closely guarded secret, we can say that the result is a beautifully balanced wine that exhibits characteristics of each varietal that went into the blend. Dark ripe fruit, spice and pepper, and a splash of juicy acidity. It’s a versatile wine that offers great versatility for food pairings but is luscious enough to enjoy on its own. Drink now or cellar and let the complexity develop further for the next 7 to 10 years.
The deep, dark, full bodied earthiness of syrah melds seamlessly with the bright, palate awakening freshness of sangiovese. Red Fruit and cocoa on the nose. Tart cherries and chocolate notes on the mid palate and a long grippy finish, mellowed by soft velvety tannins. This wine will pair equally well with pasta or meatloaf. Drink now through 2019
